Client Challenge: A new player in the pet industry is preparing an ambitious investment: building a modern wet petfood production facility in the Middle East.
GC Consulting was invited to support this project from the very beginning, bringing together our expertise in petfood manufacturing, product development and factory engineering.
Before starting the technical design, we worked closely with the customer to identify the most promising product categories for the regional market. Special attention was given to local consumer preferences, market opportunities and the availability of raw materials in the region.
Based on these findings, we started developing the factory concept together with our specialized engineering and technology partners.
Our involvement includes:
• Evaluating regional market opportunities and identifying the most suitable product categories
• Assessing locally available raw materials and their suitability for petfood production
• Defining the initial product portfolio and production requirements
• Developing the factory layout together with specialized technical partners
• Supporting equipment selection and production line planning
• Monitoring factory construction and machinery installation
• Supervising the initial production trials and supporting the start-up phase
• The project is currently in the factory planning and layout development stage.
With construction, equipment installation and production start-up planned over the coming years, GC Consulting will remain closely involved throughout the different phases of the project.
