Client Case: The client is a producer of various natural ingredients and is interested in assessing the feasibility of incorporating one specific ingredient, currently widely utilized in human food, into pet food formulations.

GC Consulting Proposal: In collaboration with a qualified nutritionist, we developed a standard recipe that incorporates the specific ingredient at varying inclusion rates to determine its effect on the palatability of the final products. Specifically, we created one neutral product and three variants with different inclusion percentages. These four distinct formulations were produced at a specialized facility capable of manufacturing small test batches tailored for such evaluations.

Upon completion of the product formulations, we conducted palatability tests at a specialized center, where we also assessed the impact of the ingredient on stool structure.

Results: The client has received the results of the study and is currently preparing a marketing strategy to launch their new product in the pet food industry. The study provides empirical evidence supporting the efficacy of the ingredient, bolstering their marketing narrative.
