Client Challenge: A client approached GC Consulting with the ambition to enter the fast-growing segment of liquid snacks for pets. The project required both technical and strategic support, covering the full scope from product development to production setup.

The client’s main objectives were:  
• Development of a portfolio of 10–12 liquid snack formulations  
• Identification and selection of suitable production equipment  
• Evaluation of investment requirements for a new production facility  
• Ensuring alignment between product concept and industrial feasibility

Our Approach  
GC Consulting provided integrated support across formulation, engineering, and supplier coordination to ensure a realistic and actionable project framework.

The project included:  
• Development of tailored formulations based on the client’s positioning and target market  
• Close collaboration with specialized equipment partners to define the optimal production setup  
• Collection and comparison of three machine offers from qualified suppliers  
• Alignment between formulation requirements and processing capabilities  
• Initial technical and commercial input to support the client’s business case development

Outcome  
The client received a comprehensive and structured overview of both product and production requirements, enabling informed decision-making.

ey deliverables included:  
• A portfolio of 10–12 ready-to-produce liquid snack formulations  
• Three competitive equipment proposals with clear technical scope  
• Defined production concept aligned with product specifications  
• Input for CAPEX evaluation and business plan development

The project is currently under evaluation, with the client finalizing a business plan to determine the investment decision and potential construction of a dedicated production facility.
